The Law and Practices of the International Atomic Energy Agency

The Law and Practices of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Legal Series No. 7, (the basic book) was written by Mr. Paul C. Szasz in 1970. It is based on the Agency’s official documents. In view of the author’s thoroughness and familiarity with international law, it is felt that the book will be of real value to all those interested in the work of the Agency. Since then the Agency’s work expanded, emphasis of its programme components shifted and administrative practices changed. Thus, in 1993, a Supplement 1 to the basic book was issued in order to reflect the above changes.
